1.1 Scope
This Standard covers residential dishwasher, food disposer, and low flow drain air gaps with
single or multiple inlets, and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics,
performance testing, and markings. Examples of low flow air gap applications are reverse
osmosis and other water treatment applications.
