1.1 General
1.1.1 This Standard covers restaurant fire suppression systems and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
1.1.2 This Standard pertains to restaurant fire suppression systems, not under continuous pressure which use water as a supplemental cooling medium to prevent reignition of the fire after extinguishment. This Standard does not cover restaurant fire suppression systems that are normally pressurized.
