1.1 Scope
This Standard covers copper‐silver ionization disinfection systems intended for commercial and
residential applications and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics,
performance testing, and markings.
These devices may be used in hot water recirculation systems and cold‐water point of entry
applications.
