1 Scope
1.1 General
1.1.1 This Standard covers water meter air control valves in sizes NPS 1/2 to NPS 8 intended for use in commercial and residential water supply lines and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.

1.1.2 Water meter air control valves covered by this standard are installed downstream and adjacent to the water meter.
