IAPMO IGC 220 Breathing Air Replenishment Systems (BARS)

1 Scope
1.1 General
1.1.1 This Standard covers building/structure installed breathing air replenishment systems (BARS) to be used in conjunction with self‐contained breathing apparatuses (SCBA) and specifies requirements for materials, physical characteristics, performance testing, and markings.
1.1.2 This standard serves to supplement the provisions of Appendix F in the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC).
